More InformationConsultation LessonParticipants are able to book 30 minute or 1 hour optional ‘add-on’ consultation lessons in either singing. These sessions (held during lunch or after course hours during the summer school) provide valuable one-to-one time with our industry professionals and are an excellent way to focus on a particular aspect of your individual development. To get the most from these sessions we recommend you prepare a song for these consultations and/or come prepared with questions.
AccommodationWe are able to offer a limited number of single occupancy en-suite rooms at the McMillan Student Village, just a 5 minute walk from the Laban Building. Rooms are offered on a self-catering basis and include the shared use of a fully equipped kitchen. Our accommodation package offers 6 nights' stay (30 Jul - 4 Aug inclusive). Unfortunately, we are unable to offer additional nights' stay or discounts for shorter stays. It is important to note that as there are student halls of residence with a busy atmosphere; there are normally other groups residing on-site and you should expect the commensurate level of noise. Any issues with accommodation will need to be addressed to the McMillan Reception Team. We are pleased to welcome young people aged 16 years and above to Take The Lead alongside out adult participants, as they can benefit from the adult environment and level of training. Please be advised that all Summer School participants, regardless of age, have the independence to come and go as they wish and we do not provide any special supervision for those participants under 18 years of age. We have Summer School assistants staying at McMillan Student Village during the week, but their role is to help in case of emergencies and they do not function in loco parentis, either at accommodation or at the Laban Building for the course. Check in is from 15.00 on Sunday 30th July. Check out is by 10.00 on Saturday 5th August. The fee for accommodation is £300.00 (self-catering). That is in addition to the Summer School course fee. We expect a high demand for rooms and spaces are limited so we advise booking early to avoid disappointment. Optional accommodation booked at the McMillan Student Village is non-refundable. All rooms are single rooms and must only be occupied by one person. By purchasing accommodation participants are agreeing to the following terms & conditions set by McMillan.
Event Specific Terms and ConditionsAny fees paid are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled by Trinity Laban. Any flight or accommodation bookings made before and after the fees are paid are made at your own risk, and Trinity Laban will not be liable for any losses you incur in the unlikely event that the course is cancelled. Consultation Lessons: Consultation lessons are subject to demand. In the unlikely event of cancellation, Trinity Laban will provide full refund for the lessons booked. Accommodation at McMillan: Optional accommodation booked at the McMillan student village is non-refundable. All rooms are single rooms and must only be occupied by one person.
