GCSE Choreography Workshop Day

Inspire your GCSE students with a day in the Laban Building, dedicated to developing choreographic ideas and working with a creative stimulus, directly supporting Component 1 of the AQA syllabus. 

As well as a practical workshop with a professional dance artist, students will take a tour of our facilities and watch our BA students in training.  The day will include a Dance Careers talk, exploring options for dance training post-18 and what you can do with a career in dance.

Places can only be booked online and not reserved by telephone/email. Please book early as these events are filled on a first-come first-served basis.

Places are £15.00 per student.

These days are for GCSE Dance groups only.  Each group must have at least one accompanying adult.

An Undergraduate Dance Experience Day for school groups to attend with teachers.

Aimed specifically at pupils in Years 12-13 this day gives an in-depth insight into studying on our Undergraduate Dance Programmes (BA Contemporary Dance / BSc Dance Science), with information about the course content, application guidance, audition tips and a chance to meet current students and staff. You will take part in practical dance classes with teachers from our Faculty and watch our BA students in training.

This event is for School/College groups only and for those in Years 12/13. Each group must have at least one accompanying adult.
