Sunday Series is a new programme of music and dance workshops for over 60s.

Taking place at the Laban Building in Deptford, the workshops are open to all levels of ability and no previous experience of singing or dance is required. Each Sunday will comprise of two, hour long workshops between 10am-1pm with the first being music focussed and the second dance.

Each workshop is at the subsidised fee of £5 which includes unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits. Carers come free to any workshop. Workshops on Sunday 6 October will be FREE to all as part of Age Uk’s Silver Sunday

The workshop leaders will vary each Sunday and will cover song writing, musical theatre, and a range of dance forms. You can choose to attend one or both workshops.

The workshops will take place on:

Sunday 8 September: 10.00 – 13.00h 

Sunday 6 October: 10.00 – 13.00h 

Sunday 3 November: 10.00 – 13.00h 

Sunday 1 December: 10.00 – 13.00h 

Join us for our Over 60’s Winter Intensive 2024

 This winter Trinity Laban is running an over 60s intensive, comprising of two days of music and dance workshops. The two music workshops will be working with choir leader Nicola Wydenbach and Trinity Laban students to create a scratch winter choir, learning popular festive songs and finishing with an informal singalong to invited guests. The dance sessions will be an introduction to ballet, with a Nutcracker themed workshop from Kasper Cornish and a street dance workshop with Icey Ice.

Each workshop is at the subsidised fee of £8, or you can book both days for £30.00. Carers come free to any workshop.
