Join us to learn the secrets of this dark, brooding symphony from the unique position of sitting inside the orchestra itself. Guided by a presenter and featuring the sublime music of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ final and mighty symphony, this is an ideal opportunity for KS3 pupils to experience a full orchestra in an engaging and dynamic way. Hear things from a new perspective, experience the musical layers behind writing for orchestra, and look out for the unexpected instruments that paint a landscape of bleak shadows, damp earth and magical ancient stone.
