Ballet Level 2 is designed to improve ballet technique, and increase dance vocabulary. The class uses complex phrasing to improve dynamics and performance, whilst expanding technical knowledge. WednesdaysContemporary - Level 2DescriptionThis is a release based contemporary technique class for participants with considerable experience in contemporary dance, who are confident in learning and executing movement. The class uses complex phrasing to improve dynamics and performance, whilst expanding technical knowledge. The class focuses on strength, resistance, coordination, and musicality to encourage freedom of movement, and uses a combination of falling, shifting and creative improvisation. Time18:45 - 20:15
Over 60s Contemporary Dance TechniqueDescriptionThis open level class caters to all participants over 60, whether you are a beginner or a more experienced mover. You will take part in a contemporary dance based warm up and technical exercises focusing on mobilisation, breath, and alignment. You will also learn longer phrases to encourage movement and expression, all with a sense of fun and enjoyment! Time18:00 - 19:30

ThursdaysBallet - IntroductionDescriptionBallet Introduction is for adults with no previous experience of classical ballet, and is a great place to start if you are new to ballet or if you have limited dance experience. The course will introduce and guide you through the basics of classical ballet technique with a sense of fun and enjoyment. If you have never done any dancing before, we recommend joining at the start of a term for Block 1 – this will give you the best experience of taking part in the sessions. Time18:45 - 20:15
Ballet - Level 1DescriptionThis class is for adults with basic experience in classical ballet technique, or who are returning from a long break. The class is also suitable for more experienced movers with lower levels of stamina. The course will build confidence, improve technique, and increase your dance vocabulary. Class will consist of a barre and centre practice. This would be suitable for those who have taken part in 2-3 terms of our Ballet Introduction course, who feel ready to move on from the basics. Thursday Night Hype!DescriptionThis open level street dance class caters for all abilities. Thursday Night Hype is a fun filled session to get you moving, playing music that will make you smile with feel good vibes. You'll cover a combination of 80s – 00s hip-hop grooves, contemporary flow, jazz technique, plus so much more. The class contains a good mix of styles to open the mind and get the body ready for the weekend ahead. Icy Ice 54 will help build your self-confidence and fitness week by week, and aims to give participants a high-energy and fun experience in a relaxed atmosphere. SaturdaysContemporary - IntroductionDescriptionContemporary Introduction is for adults with no previous experience of contemporary dance, limited dance experience or if you would like to try a new style. The course will introduce and guide you through the basics of contemporary technique, in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. If you have never done any dancing before, we recommend joining at the start of a term for Block 1 – this will give you the best experience of taking part in the sessions. Time09:00-10:30

The class focuses on alignment, co-ordination, use of weight, and musicality, to encourage freedom of movement. The class includes a warm up and a cool down, as well as a combination of technical exercises, travelling, and a more complex phrase of movement. Time10:45 - 12:15
PilatesDescriptionThis open level matwork class is suitable for beginners as well as those with more experience. The Pilates method is a system of exercises designed to promote body alignment, strength and flexibility. The work is focused around the abdominal muscles and the use of breath to support spinal alignment and promote muscular efficiency. The pace of the class is gentle and focuses the body and the mind on simple actions to increase control. This will allow time for the body to change habitual patterns in order to promote more efficient movement and increase suppleness. Time09:00-10:15
YogaDescriptionThis open level class is suitable for beginners as well as those with more experience. The class combines both dynamic sequences and restorative exercises. The emphasis is on breath, awareness, and safe-practice. A non-competitive atmosphere is encouraged so that you can practise at your own level and ability. The class begins with a series of simple exercises to prepare the whole self for the practice. A series of sun-salutations will encourage you to experience the more dynamic aspect of Yoga followed by standing and sitting asana (postures) to emphasise alignment and balance, while working on the relation between strength and stretch. The class ends with relaxation and a short sitting meditation. You can also drop in to yoga on a Saturday morning – no need to sign up just pay by card on the day! Time09:00-10:15
