Pilates

This open level matwork class is suitable for beginners as well as those with more experience.

The Pilates method is a system of exercises designed to promote body alignment, strength and flexibility. The work is focused around the abdominal muscles and the use of breath to support spinal alignment and promote muscular efficiency. The pace of the class is gentle and focuses the body and the mind on simple actions to increase control. This will allow time for the body to change habitual patterns in order to promote more efficient movement and increase suppleness.
